Yoga is a life of self-dicipline based on the tenets of “simple living and high thinking.” To the ancient yogis, the body was seen as a vehicle for the soul, and this is a useful metaphor in the modern context. Just as a car requires a lubricating system, a battery, a cooling system, the proper fuel and a responsible driver behind the wheel, so the body has certain needs if it to function smoothly.
There are many types of physical exercise, but the Yogic system of asanas (poses) is the most complete, benefiting for more than just the physical body. The asanas emphasize deep breathing, relaxed movements and mental concentration,
Yoga Studio Guidelines
Please turn off all cell phones and electronic devices completely.
Please try to be on time for class. In the event that you are late, please refrain from entering class in the first 10 minutes.
If you need to leave class early, please do so in advance of preparation for Savasana (meditation).
Please do not wear any perfume, cologne, or any oils of any kind.
Refrain from eating a meal 1-2 hours prior to yoga practice.
Wear comfortable clothing both loose enough to be able to move yet close fitting enough as to not have to be constantly adjusted during many of the poses.
Please inform the instructor regarding any injuries or areas of concern for you.
Please return props, mats and blankets neatly at the conclusion of class.

Jason is a veteran endurance and multisport coach with certifications in triathlon, running, cycling, distance and masters swimming. A 5x Ironman with over 18 years personal triathlon, cycling, ultra-distance, marathon and multi-stage racing, Jasontranslates his experiences, along with the fundamentals of movement.
Jason is the founder and head coach for TriTrain Endurance Coaching, an Education Ambassador for Intelligent Cycling and a Schwinn Indoor Cycling / Star Trac Treadmill/Cardio Master Instructor & Educator.
